Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include Design, implement, and optimize infrastructure for AI model inference at scale Lead development and maintenance of production AI services and applications, including RAG, autonomous agents, and emerging AI capabilities Serve as technical lead for AI infrastructure initiatives across integrated teams Conduct regular one-on-ones and provide coaching, feedback, and support for assigned team members Act as team point of contact for contract administration functions Define solutions for complex, underspecified systems and requirements Establish technical policies, standards, and governance frameworks where gaps exist Drive adoption of new technologies and engineering practices across teams Implement and oversee monitoring, logging, and observability for AI services Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security across AI platform components Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels Minimum Qualifications Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in place of a Bachelor’s degree Required Skills Extensive experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems Deep expertise in systems integration across diverse technologies and platforms Hands-on experience with cloud engineering in AWS Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes administration and deployment patterns Strong Python programming skills Experience implementing and scaling observability solutions, including APM, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Prometheus Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence organizational change Experience developing technical policies and governance frameworks Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills Ability to balance hands-on engineering with leadership and coordination responsibilities Desired Skills Experience with AI inference serving technologies such as vLLM or LiteLLM Previous experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain Knowledge of vector databases and embedding systems Experience with high-performance computing or distributed systems Track record of successfully driving technical and cultural change Compensation Range: $203,000.00 - $260,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
