Chief Executive Officer Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealers' Association PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership to advance the organization’s mission of serving its dealer members by expanding the Pittsburgh International Auto Show, strengthening funding for the GPAD Foundation, and developing pathways for the next generation of automotive technicians. The CEO will oversee all aspects of revenue generation, working collaboratively with the Director of Administration, Director of Automotive Careers, area dealers, associate partners, and the Board of Directors to grow financial support and broaden organizational impact. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing strategies that ensure long-term sustainability, elevate the organization’s profile, and drive continued growth in funding and member engagement. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/DUTIES: Revenue Generation & Partnerships • Develop and execute a comprehensive, diversified revenue strategy • Identify and pursue new opportunities for funding, partnerships, and expansion • Collaborate with the Auto Show Director to create new revenue opportunities at the Pittsburgh International Auto Show • Develop new revenue streams and partnerships to fund the GPAD Foundation • Continue to partner with educational institutions and dealers to broaden the automotive technician scholarship programs Event Strategy & Execution • Collaborate with the Auto Show Director in planning and execution of the Pittsburgh International Auto Show, Dancing with the Cars gala and Career Day at the Auto Show. Leadership & Governance • Lead the planning, execution and follow-up for GPADA and Foundation Board meetings. • Manage Board development, including recruitment of new members and oversight of elections Communications & Member Engagement • Develop and deliver communications to dealer and associate members. Workforce Development & Industry Engagement • Partner with the Director of Automotive Careers to plan recruitment events and the annual technician competition • Track scholarship recipients and solicit dealer feedback to improve workforce initiatives MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: · 7-10+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, partnerships, automotive, or related fields · Demonstrated experience managing and growing multiple revenue streams, including philanthropy, partnerships, grants, and sponsorships · Proven track record of increasing revenue and building strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders · Confident and effective in working with senior executives, boards of directors, and high-level partners
