About The Role As a UX/UI & Graphic Designer at Smartness, you will be a key member of our marketing team, collaborating closely with other team members to shape the visual identity and user experience of our integrated platform of products. This role is critical to strengthening our brand architecture and elevating how we communicate each product's unique value, reinforcing the vision of an integrated and seamless ecosystem. Responsibilities Strengthen Brand Architecture: Develop designs that align Smartness and its product modules under a cohesive brand while ensuring each product retains its distinct identity. Make the Brand Unforgettable: Create visually compelling and memorable designs that establish Smartness as a highly recognizable brand in the hospitality sector. Elevate Product Communication: Design user-friendly interfaces and engaging visuals to effectively communicate the benefits of each product to clients. Brand Consistency Across All Visuals: Implement a cohesive visual identity across digital and offline materials in adherence to the new branding guidelines. Build a Scalable Design System: Establish and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across teams and projects. Enhance Website Conversion Rates: Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize landing pages and other touchpoints to achieve measurable improvements in website conversions. Hard Skills UX/UI Design Expertise Proficient in designing user-centric interfaces using tools like Figma. Deep understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design. Graphic Design Mastery Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Expertise in branding, typography, and creating cohesive visual systems. Prototyping & Wireframing Ability to create interactive prototypes for visualizing user flows and testing ideas. Design System Development Experience building and managing scalable design systems for consistent cross-product branding. Strong Web Development Knowledge Familiarity with HTML and CSS to better collaborate with developers and understand implementation constraints. Video Editing Expertise Proficiency in video editing using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, ensuring high-quality video content aligns with the brand's identity. Soft Skills Extreme Creativity and Innovation: A natural flair for generating bold, innovative ideas and crafting extraordinary designs that stand out. Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, and development). Attention to Detail: Maintain the highest standards of quality and precision in design work. Adaptability: Pivot designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements. Problem-Solving: Analyze user experience challenges and propose effective, innovative solutions. Time and Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Language Skills Full professional proficiency in both Italian and English is mandatory. You will be expected to work fluently in both languages across written and verbal communication, including presenting concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and producing design documentation. We offer competitive compensation and the opportunity to participate in the company's long-term growth through equity access. Early-career professionals typically join with an annual OTE starting from €35,000 across Europe, while candidates with significant relevant experience may receive compensation of up to €55,000, depending on their expertise, scope of responsibilities, and expected impact.
