Position Overview The Operations Director leads the firm’s day-to-day operations and ensures execution aligns with strategic priorities. This role partners with the partner group to translate vision into action, driving efficiency, accountability, and consistency across workflows. Primary Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Execution • Translate goals into actionable plans • Drive accountability across DHA team • Ensure follow-through on priorities Operational Oversight • Direct oversight of administrative roles • Ensure efficient day-to-day operations • Maintain visibility into workflow and deadlines • Lead capacity planning and staffing coordination • Implement process improvements • Oversee accounting functions within the firm (time and billing, generating of receipts and deposit of bills, firm accounting and payroll) Support Workflow & Capacity Management • Review and analyze firm-wide workflow • Support partners to balance workload across team members • Anticipate and identify bottlenecks • Plan for and coordinate peak season workflow Process Improvement & Systems • Improve and standardize workflows • Optimize systems and tools • Lead implementation of new systems Accountability & Communication • Maintain communication rhythms among team • Ensure clarity of priorities • Track action items • Reinforce accountability Talent & Organizational Development • Support hiring strategy • Onboarding and offboarding team members • Support career pathing of team members • Implement and support initiatives to drive retention • Facilitate healthy firm culture and support firm-wide events Client Experience Oversight • Ensure high-quality client experience • Oversee client onboarding and communication • Resolve service issues when appropriate • Maintain relationship-driven service What Success Looks Like • Partner group freed from operations and administrative functions • Efficient workflows • Clear team priorities • Strong client experience • Reduced operational friction Qualifications • 5+ years operations or administrative leadership experience • Bachelor's degree • Strong organizational and leadership skills • Excellent communication abilities • Ability to support team and drive accountability Team Members Who Thrive at DHA… • Build relationships with care and professionalism • Listen to understand and is eager to learn • Adapt well to different people and situations • Value being part of a close-knit, small-firm culture • Welcome feedback and demonstrates emotional intelligence • Communicate with clarity, respect, and transparency • Show resilience and a strong work ethic during busy seasons • Take pride in professional presence and client interactions • Bring curiosity, initiative, and a growth mindset • Work collaboratively, yet confidently manages independent work Why You’ll Love Working at DHA • Competitive salary and benefits • Flexible scheduling outside of tax season • 401(k) with firm contribution • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and paid holidays Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 annually, plus bonus potential Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
