Registered Nurse-Perioperative Program Coordinator

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when delegating task that affect direct patient care based on age specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Serves a vital, behind-the-scenes role to ensure smooth coordination and case flow between the Operating Room (OR) and the Sterile Processing Department (SPD).
