Summary
The Cosmetics Beauty Advisor provides personalized product recommendations and clienteling services within a high-end beauty and fragrance retail environment. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, building client relationships, and driving sales through product knowledge and tailored consultations. The advisor works on the sales floor and supports merchandising, inventory, and transaction processes.
Responsibilities
• Provide one-on-one consultations and product recommendations to clients on the sales floor.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling and upselling.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and replenish product displays.
• Process transactions, handle samples and gift services, and ensure a polished presentation.
• Build and maintain client records, follow up with customers, and cultivate repeat business.
Requirements
• 2+ years of retail or beauty sales experience, preferably in cosmetics or fragrance.
• Strong product knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed.
