This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to the production of high-quality metal workpieces. Job Function Key Responsibilities • Operate one or more machine tools, including special purpose machines and industrial 3- and 4-axis CNC machines, to produce metal workpieces according to specifications. • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements in English. • Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and precision. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime. • Interpret drawings (GD&T principles), manufacturing process specifications, and manipulate 3D models used in preparation for machining. • Employee is competent and trustworthy to safely perform with minimum supervision and meet the requirements of the Machine Shop. • Able to operate program and operate CNC. • Ability to use all Modern and Conventional (Bridgeport, lathe, drill press, press brake, etc) Machine Shop equipment. • Ability to Design and Fabricate jigs, fixtures, tools and dies for ease of machining or manufacturing parts in volume in a consistent and repetitive manner • Ability to identify appropriate materials and tool hardness for varying applications and maintain shop supply inventory Job Requirement Skills and Qualifications • Proven experience operating CNC machines, particularly 3- and 4-axis CNC equipment. • Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and measurement techniques. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications in English. • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
