Wholesale Sales Manager – Consumer Products
Location: Greenville, SC
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 base + Commissions / Bonus
OTE: $110,000 – $130,000+
About the Opportunity
Our client, a fast-growing consumer products brand known for their fun custom iceless coolers, is seeking a driven Wholesale Sales Manager to lead and grow their independent wholesale channel. The company gained national exposure on Shark Tank in 2019 and has continued building a strong presence in the market.
This role is ideal for someone with direct experience selling physical consumer products into retail, specialty, outdoor, lifestyle, gift, apparel, accessories, drinkware, or similar channels. The right candidate will bring existing wholesale sales knowledge, strong buyer relationship-building ability, and experience working with or managing independent territory reps.
This is a hands-on sales leadership role focused on expanding the company’s presence across boutiques, gift shops, surf shops, outfitters, specialty retailers, and similar wholesale accounts across the U.S.
What You’ll Do
Lead and grow the independent wholesale sales channel
Manage, support, and hold independent territory reps / multi-line reps accountable
Recruit and onboard new independent reps in underrepresented territories
Build and maintain relationships with wholesale buyers, retailers, and specialty accounts
Manage house accounts and identify new wholesale account opportunities
Drive revenue growth through consistent follow-up, account development, and sales strategy
Attend and support wholesale trade shows throughout the year
Track rep activity, territory performance, account growth, and sales results
Partner with internal teams on customer needs, orders, inventory, and upcoming opportunities
Bring energy, organization, and urgency to a growing sales channel
What We’re Looking For
Proven wholesale sales experience within consumer products, retail, lifestyle, outdoor, apparel, accessories, bags, drinkware, gifts, home goods, or similar physical goods
Experience managing, coaching, supporting, or holding independent territory reps, multi-line reps, distributors, or dealers accountable
Existing knowledge of wholesale buyer relationships, retail sales cycles, trade shows, and independent rep networks
Experience selling into boutiques, specialty retailers, gift shops, outdoor retailers, surf shops, outfitters, or similar wholesale accounts
Strong sales hunger — proactive, competitive, motivated, and comfortable owning a number
Ability to open new accounts while also growing existing wholesale relationships
Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
Willingness to travel for trade shows, customer meetings, and sales opportunities
Must be able to work in office in Greenville, SC
