About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce CRM Software Engineer to join our dynamic Investment Experience Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance our investment services. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and architects to deliver scalable, high-quality software using a modern tech stack including Salesforce CRM & CDP, Java, APIs, and OpenShift. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an agile, fast-paced environment that values bold thinking and innovation, contributing to the development of next-generation investment solutions that empower both our members and financial advisors.
The successful candidate will lead solutioning efforts, oversee development activities, and mentor junior engineers. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our new line of business, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders. The position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence four days a week, based in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, or Phoenix, AZ. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of six years of comprehensive software development experience demonstrating deep technical expertise in relevant disciplines. A minimum of four years of experience delivering full lifecycle technology solutions is required, including leading code and design reviews. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application and system issues, research technical challenges, and develop innovative solutions is essential. Strong knowledge of security best practices, cloud technologies, and tools is also required.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions across various technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and tools.
Lead code and design reviews, communicate updates to stakeholders, and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning.
Develop advanced algorithms to address business needs and optimize performance.
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including production outages, by directing troubleshooting efforts end-to-end.
Mentor and coach engineers, review code, and promote best practices in design, development, and maintenance of systems.
Influence the architecture and quality standards within your domain, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and high-performing.
Identify system performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and areas for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance overall system health.
Ensure compliance with risk management, security, and regulatory policies, effectively monitoring and controlling associated risks.
