CNC MILL MACHINIST/PROGRAMMER Position Summary: The Rodon Group is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist/Programmer to join its manufacturing team. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, steady hours and excellent benefits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Set up, operate and maintain one or more CNC Vertical Machining Centers. · Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings. · Program and edit machines using G-code and M-code. · Perform preventative maintenance on machines. · Conduct quality inspections and ensure parts meet customer specifications. · Inspect, measure and gauge parts for accuracy and defects. · Follow all safety regulations and procedures. · Obtain required tooling, drawings and special instructions prior to jobs. · Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team. · Perform additional tasks as needed to support production. Job Requirements: · Experience operating and programming CNC using Mastercam. · Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to quality standards. Physical Demands: This job requires extreme concentration and attention. Without deliberate focus, the worker could sustain a serious injury or cause another employee to be injured. Safety training is on-going and persistent. Safety is paramount for this job. · Independently move steel blocks weighing up to 2000 lbs. using chain hoists. · Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and whole body movement: such as lifting up to 45 lbs., balancing, stooping, and handling of materials. · Talk; hear; see. Specific vision abilities required by this job include normal field of vision, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition. · Make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. · Walk and stand a minimum of 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week on concrete floors. · Wears steel-toed safety shoes and other personal protective equipment as required such as ear plugs and gloves.
