Makeup Artist/Hairstylist

Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Make-up Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and aesthetics, with the ability to enhance clients' features through expert make-up application in a television, broadcast setting. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs, ensuring a personalized experience that leaves them feeling confident, beautiful and TV ready. Duties • Provide professional make-up application services for hosts on a daily basis and on various occasions for in person guests • Consult with clients to determine their desired look and recommend suitable products and techniques. • Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide exceptional service. • Perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair styling, and hair threading as needed. • Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations. • Collaborate with control room crew to see results live on TV monitors and apply touch-ups if need be. • Utilize knowledge of color theory to select appropriate shades for different skin tones. Skills • Experience with eyelash extension application, hair styling, and hair threading is preferred. • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their preferences. • Familiarity with photography concepts and television, broadcast lighting to ensure make-up looks great on camera. • Knowledge of color theory for selecting the right shades for clients' complexions. • Ability to sanitize tools after every use and maintain hygiene standards in all procedures.
