Job Description
AI and Experience Orchestration Director
Location: Durham, NC
Remote
Job Summary
Drive innovative AI-powered customer experience solutions as part of the Genesys native AI and Experience Orchestration portfolio, including Genesys Agentic AI. Partner with core account teams and clients to deliver empathetic, personalized experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in detailed AI discussions with both technical and business leaders, leveraging deep AI expertise.
Collaborate with account executives (AEs) and sales management on territory planning, pipeline generation, opportunity management, and forecasting to exceed sales targets.
Execute field plays and programs related to the Genesys AI portfolio, including sales campaigns and enablement programs.
Provide subject matter expertise to differentiate Genesys in opportunities and model best practices for AEs.
Support positioning, presentations, pricing, proposals, and other work products for the AI portfolio.
Lead customer workshops focused on developing AI use cases and pilots.
Act as the voice of the customer and field with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, professional services).
Identify priorities and use cases to drive AI opportunities.
Requirements
Strong subject matter expertise in AI and pre-sales with excellent written and oral skills.
Experience in sales overlay or subject matter expert roles.
12+ years of relevant professional experience in Software, Cloud, or AI.
Proven expertise in AI-powered customer experience with an AI-first mindset.
Ability to lead through influence and direct authority, driving outcomes collaboratively.
Strong coordination skills for developing and running AI Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
Demonstrated ability to create effective territory and account strategies/plans.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Effective presentation skills in public events.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
Desirable Skills
Hands-on experience selling leading AI solutions within the customer experience/contact center market.
Compensation
Salary Range: $134,000.00 - $235,600.00 (base salary; actual varies by experience, qualifications, skills, and location). May also be eligible for commission or performance-based bonuses.
