Senior Fund Accountant - Hedge Fund / FinTech

Great Opportunity available with a High Successful and multi-billion dollar Hedge Fund / Fintech firm in NYC! **1 Day a Week In-Office** - **5 Days Total Per Month In-Office** The Fund Accountant is responsible for delivering high quality accounting services and timely financial reporting to the firm's internal business partners as well as the firm’s clients. The client supports investment management business initiatives, reviews and approves the funds’ NAVs and provide reporting to internal and external counterparties. The client is seeking a collaborative, self-motivated and analytical professional to join the team. If you are passionate about joining a fast-paced, diverse team, the client would love to meet you! Responsibilities Include: • Review and approve the daily, weekly and monthly NAVs and RoRs prepared by the administrator • Contribute to the annual audit. Prepare financial statements and audit workpapers (including consolidation accounting) • Coordinate with the Tax team and tax preparer on periodic tax filings and reporting including K-1s and tax estimates Seeking: • *5-8 years of progressive Fund Accounting experience from a competing buy-side firm and/or a Hedge Fund Audit professional directly out of a BIG-4 Public Accounting Firm • CPA • Bachelor Degree in Accounting
